Aage Egeriis was a renowned Danish furniture designer of the 1960s, whose visionary work continues to inspire design enthusiasts and collectors worldwide. Born in 1942 in Denmark, he grew up during a golden age of Scandinavian design, characterized by clean lines, natural materials, and a strong focus on functionality.

From a young age, Aage Egeriis showed a passion for art and design. He pursued his studies at the Copenhagen School of Applied Arts, where he was mentored by some of Denmark’s most influential designers. It was during this time that he developed a keen sense of organic forms and a deep interest in ergonomics—two key elements that would define his work.

During the 1960s, Aage Egeriis gained recognition for creating innovative and timeless furniture pieces. His designs were characterized by sculptural shapes, a thoughtful use of natural materials such as wood and leather, and a minimalist aesthetic.
