DUX, whose full name is DUXIANA, was founded in 1926 in Sweden by former chocolatier Efraim Ljung. This renowned company specializes in the manufacture of furniture, particularly high-end mattresses and bedding systems.

Since its inception, DUX has built a notable reputation with its mattresses, combining traditional craftsmanship with ergonomic innovation.

When it comes to furniture, the company typically features a clean, contemporary Scandinavian design that emphasizes aesthetics while combining functionality and elegance. DUX is also known for its collaborations with renowned designers. In the 1960s and 1970s, Bruno Mathsson created highly appreciated classics for DUX, including the Jetson, Pernilla, and Karin chairs, all of which feature refined details and generous, tufted seating. This period marked the point when DUX became an international brand in Swedish furniture design.

Thanks to our expertise in vintage furniture restoration, we were able to preserve the authenticity and integrity of the original design while adding subtle adjustments, signed by Norki, to modernize certain elements and meet contemporary demands for comfort and aesthetics.
