A house in dialogue with nature

A cubist house with offset volumes and expansive openings that frame the wild beauty of the North Sea coast.

The boundaries between indoors and outdoors blur seamlessly, reflecting Belgian interior architect Olivier Dwek's philosophy of discreet, intimate living.

Abstract paintings by Günther Förg adorn the living room walls, while Ado Chale's bronze "Water Drop" table is paired with restored Senate Committee chairs by Pierre Jeanneret, meticulously refurbished by our workshops.

In the dining room, Rick Owens' "Plug Table" stands alongside Pierre Jeanneret's Typ chairs.

Completing this poetic composition, Alvar Aalto's Beehive pendants illuminate a striking ceramic piece by Takuro Kuwata.

Olivier Dweck a famous interior designer.

interior design by OLIVIER DWEK

The English interior designer Olivier Dwek was born in Brussels in 1970. An early passion for the arts led him to the Académie des Beaux-Arts, before he began training at the Victor Horta Faculty of Architecture at the Université Libre de Bruxelles in 1990. Continuing his apprenticeship with Art & Build, a well-known Brussels agency specialising in large-scale projects, he received his first major commissions in 1997. Three years later, Olivier Dwek set up his own architectural practice in the heart of the Capital of Europe.

Since then, he has worked on an astonishing number of projects in the high-end private residential sector, as well as in the public sector. His talent is expressed with fluidity in a wide range of fields, from the design of prestigious boutiques for Louis Vuitton, art galleries and art centres, to the renovation of former factories and the creation of lofts (used as a showcase, for example, to launch a Christian Dior perfume), private mansions and manor houses.
