A vintage armchair from the 1950s. It features a high, enveloping backrest, high armrests, and a deep, comfortable seat.
The Mama Bear armchair's distinctive aesthetic comes from the marriage of soft, inviting curves and dynamic, geometric lines.
This armchair is an inviting space for rest and contemplation. Design Hans J. Wegner®

Our seats are made of hides and furs. These are living materials that evolve over time. Hide is a naturally impermeable material which makes it very easy to clean.
Vacuuming your seat regularly. If stained, scrub the area with cold water only, without detergent or washing powder, you will risk changing the integrity of our products.
If your furniture has deteriorated, our workshop is able to respond to your request for your product repair and restoration. We invite you to contact our sales department.
Paying attention to where you place your seat will contribute to its longevity. It should be protected from damp and prolonged exposure to light.
Choose natural colours if you are exposed to strong sunlight, especially in the mountains, as they do not fade. If you opt for tinted skins, install anti-UV filters on the windows.
However, our tinted hides may lose colour saturation and fade slightly over time.
One of the most important and influential designers in the history of design, Hans J. Wegner is considered a driving force behind the Danish Modern movement of the mid-20th century, an era that forever changed the way we look at furniture.
One of his iconic pieces, ‘The Chair’, became a historic furniture in the USA when, in 1960, President Nixon, who regularly suffered from back pain, chose it in a televised debate against Richard Nixon.
