Our seats are made of hides and furs. These are living materials that evolve over time. Hide is a naturally impermeable material which makes it very easy to clean.
Vacuuming your seat regularly. If stained, scrub the area with cold water only, without detergent or washing powder, you will risk changing the integrity of our products.
If your furniture has deteriorated, our workshop is able to respond to your request for your product repair and restoration. We invite you to contact our sales department.
Paying attention to where you place your seat will contribute to its longevity. It should be protected from damp and prolonged exposure to light.
Choose natural colours if you are exposed to strong sunlight, especially in the mountains, as they do not fade. If you opt for tinted skins, install anti-UV filters on the windows.
However, our tinted hides may lose colour saturation and fade slightly over time.

OIVA PARVIAINEN
Oiva Parviainen is the first Lepokalusto designer to graduate from the School of Arts and Design. This talented young interior designer joined Lepokalusto immediately after completing his studies. His new collection, including the ‘Susanna’ chair, quickly captured the attention of the press.
Lahden Lepokalusto (1953 – Today)
Lahden Lepokalusto, founded in 1953 in response to the needs of post-war reconstruction and the furnishing of homes for a period of prosperity, began life as Lahden Lepokalusto Oy. The factory initially produced benders, sofa-beds and deckchairs. Since 1958, Lepo has worked with renowned interior designers, and from the early 1960s, production was increasingly geared towards furnishing public spaces. Their iconic designs include the Moderno chair series (1958-62) by Professor Yrjo Kukkapuro and the Polaire collection (1965) by interior designer Esko Pajamies, which are still part of the Lepo collection.
