MEGEVE GETS READY FOR A NEW SKI SEASON
The first frosts are arriving, and the peaks of Megève are beginning to be cloaked in a blanket of snow.
Under the watchful eye of Mont Blanc, the ski resort of Megève is preparing for the new festive season of winter 2024.
Norki is actively participating in the resort's life with its shop located at 35, Passage des 5 Rues, a charming pedestrian street in the heart of the iconic alpine village, and shares with you the calendar of the most beautiful moments to come.
Christmas Tree Lighting
As tradition dictates, the season will officially kick off with the lighting of the Christmas Tree.
On December 2, 2024, from 7:30 pm, this long-standing tradition will mark the beginning of the much-anticipated festivities.
A beautifully choreographed musical performance will accompany this magical moment.
The immense tree, adorned with thousands of lights, will be a wonder to behold for both young and old for months to come.
Located on the famous Place de la Mairie, it will be surrounded by the equally famous carriages that have made Megève renowned.
Unveiling of the Norki Scenography
Just like the grand Parisian shop windows, it is on this same date that our House will unveil its new window display. As with every season, this moment is eagerly awaited by the residents of Megève and by vacationers alike.
Our summer 2023 windows showcased a secret garden filled with poetic flowers, while winter 2023 presented a fantastic forest made of majestic firs and figurative snowballs. Our summer 2024 windows took you on a dreamlike maritime journey.
This moment sets the rhythm of our shop's life, simultaneously revealing the new scenography of our seasonal collections. Rugs, plaids, cushions, armchairs and sofas, and our curation of vintage Scandinavian furniture are exhibited there, accompanied by a selection of works of art.

Ski Resort Opening in Megève
Ideally located in the heart of the Alps, the Megève Evasion Mont-Blanc ski resort will open its 110 lifts on the weekend of 7th and 8th December 2024.
The famous slopes of Mont-d’Arbois, Rochebrune, Combloux, Le Jaillet, and La Giettaz, nestled amidst snow-covered forests and pristine alpine meadows, offer a gigantic ski area with 400 km of pistes spread across 4 massifs.

Reopening of the Megève Outdoor Ice Rink
As the highlight of the winter season, from 7th to 20th December 2024, the Megève outdoor ice rink promises magical moments for generations.
Twirl on the ice under the winter sun and indulge in fantastic pirouettes under the starry sky with the illuminated village as a backdrop.

Numerous exhibitions and concerts will punctuate the winter season, as they do every year.
